WHAT IS RADO

Rainbow and Diversity Organization is a non- profit Organization aimed at empowering all Vulnerable and Marginorised Minority groups through skills, talent Development and human right awareness plus health issues. We also aim at stopping the discrimination and stigmatization faced by most at risk population like LGBTIQ, HIV, Addicts, mental illness, Sexworkers, Handicapped etc, community. Rainbow and Diversity Organization was established in 2010 by a group of dedicated young activists and works together with other lgbti and human rights groups locally, nationally and internationally.

The Organization was formed in 2010 by a group of young activists who felt the need to bridge the missing link in the service delivery to these Vulnerable and Marginorised Minority groups ,and also to fight for their rights through human rights awareness and equipping them with vacational skills and social economic empowerment for them to be able to face their oppressors in a more positive manner,we chose to do this because we saw that most of these Vulnerable and Marginorised Minority groups lacked the basic skills of survival and so they were not well motivaedt to fight for their rights and empower themselves while in that situation.

Even still those who have some skills at times fails to practice their knowledge and Skills freely due to the homophobia and transphobia in the working environment and society ,so the idea of forming an organization to help out all these Vulnerable and Mirgonrised and Minority groups was born in our midst and thus the formation of Rainbow and Diversity Organization.
